There has been an almost constant stream of moans from Didier Drogba since Mourinho left, and it seems that the Moany One could finally be packing his bags after threatening to do so for ages. The Telegraph reports that the Ivorian could be heading to AC Milan for £30 million.
The AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani yesterday claimed Chelsea had authorised them to open negotiations with the Ivorian, even though no fee has yet been agreed between the two clubs. However, while Milan are already in negotiations with representatives of Drogba, it is understood that Chelsea would sell him at the right price. (Telegraph)
At 30 years of age, the £30 million figure bandied around represents almost as much of a rip off as AC Milan’s sale of Andrei Shevchenko to the Stamford Bridge club for that amount. So Chelsea fans, is this good business (and does good business even come into it when you are owned by a billionaire), or would you prefer to keep Droggers?
