Who knew Newcastle midfielder Charles N’Zogbia was a fan of COS! You’d have to think that was the case after the United star told France Football that he no longer dreams of the Toon Army. Instead, he’d rather pit two of the biggest COS masses against each other by making it known that Tottenham or Arsenal are his top two choices! This should be fun…
N’Zogbia told France Football: “At the end of last season I didn’t play a lot, so that has given me desire to play somewhere else. When I will talk with the coach it will be clearer. My priority is to play.
“I have dreamt about Arsenal since I was kid. I would be delighted to join the Gunners. It is a famous team that has big coverage in France. But Tottenham is exciting too.
“I have never played in Ligue 1. That could be an experience in my career. But frankly, it is not my current priority. I am playing in one of the best leagues in the world. And I feel a little like at home here.” (France Football)
Big Chuck, as we like to call him, is a pretty fantastic midfielder that has a certain pace about him that should make both London clubs take notice. But with Nasri currently making his way to Arsenal, and Modric moving to Tottenham, you’d have to wonder where he’d fit. Regardless, either club would love to have the Newcastle midfielder on their squad…right?
