Apparently Keane’s departure from White Hart Lane is supposedly a formality so it appears many sources are claiming that the cash is already being earmarked to be put to very good use!
Andrei Arshavin’s agent has told Sky Sports News that the Zenit St Petersburg playmaker would be interested in a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Arshavin has been strongly linked with a transfer away from Petrovsky Stadium after he impressed for Russia at Euro 2008.

Zenit St Petersburg’s wantaway star Andrei Arshavin has ruled out a move to Italian outfit Roma, even as the Russia international’s future yet remains undecided despite recent claims that Premiership outfit Tottenham Hotspur are the favourites for his signature. (Premiershiplatest.com)
Andrei Arshavin was the genius behind Russia’s impressive run in the Euro’s and that was no flash in the pan performance as he has been greatly admired for a couple of years now as he has been instrumental in his club sides recent successes from winning the national title as well as the UEFA Cup in the last 18 months. If Ramos did decide to opt for using the cash from Keane’s sale there are worst ways to spend it. However his reported demands for 100k a week could cause ripples of discontent at the club amongst players on lesser wages. Do Spurs fans consider a successful move for Arshavin as a very real possibility and if so would it make up for the loss of their number 10?
