Well, this on/off move is apparently safely in the bag according to this reliable source as Juande Ramos finally appears to have snared an impressive Manchester City star.
Word just in that the non-stop operation that is THFC has just about secured the services of Vedran Corluka.
My source says that this is done and dusted and the player will be announced/revealed with at least one other. This ties in with City’s Zabaleta purchase. Add to this that Spurs Odious’s Archibald believes the medical has been successfully passed and I’d say this looks very good.
The vulgarities of money? Manchester City paid £8million for Corluka and I don’t anticipate that they have made on the deal.
Oh yes, please accept my deepest and most sincere apologies all those who have not been mentioned personally in this but feel aggrieved that they or someone else somehow ‘owned’ this information. (HarryHotspur)
Corluka is a quality player and one who, of course, came very close to signing for the White Hart Lane outfit a week or two ago only for the deal to be scuppered when it emerged that Eastlands boss Mark Hughes was pretty much unaware that the deal was about to be completed! The Croat has been impressive this season even with this transfer looming over his head which shows good character. I am sure he can be a good purchase for Tottenham not least because he is adaptable and is as good going forward as he is at the back. Do Spurs fans rate Vedran or is there someone else they would rather Ramos completed his summer signings with?
