The day is getting nearer when this top-class striker can finally pull on his Arsenal shirt and thrill the punters!
Arsenal striker Eduardo hopes to give boss Arsene Wenger an early Christmas present by returning to action in December.
The Croatia international has not featured for the Gunners since suffering a horrific leg break against Birmingham in February.
But the 25-year-old, who netted four times in 13 league starts for Arsene Wenger’s side last season, exclusively told setantasports.com that his recovery is right on track.
“My leg is getting better all the time and I hope to be back playing again by Christmas,” he said.
“It has been a long road to recovery and there is still a lot of hard work left to do, but everything is going well and I should be back playing again soon.” (Setanta)
After being hacked down by Martin Taylor, Arsenal lost arguably their most deadly striker (yes, Adebayor is a quality player but I think that Eduardo is far more lethal). The Cro-zillian is a much-loved member of the Gunners squad and the fans will be hopeful that he can come back as good as new from the long-term lay-off. The question, then, is who will form the frontline of a fully-fit Wenger squad?
