This Wenger target has an admiration for the north London club, and a move to the Emirates could be on the cards.

Bayern Munich defender Daniel van Buyten has admitted Arsenal are a ‘very attractive club’ amid rumours of interest from the Emirates Stadium outfit.
The Belgian said in the Daily Star: “Arsenal are a very attractive club. That goes without saying.
“When we reach the mid-season break I will take stock of my situation at Bayern. There is still time for me to make a decision.
“At present I’m not getting to play as many games for Bayern as before. I am concentrating on trying to get back into the side.” (Sky Sports)
30-year-old Van Buyten is a very experienced centre back, who could be just what Arsenal need to steady the ship at the back. The Belgian international has had successful stints in his homeland as well as in France, and now with Bayern in the Bundesliga, but he hasn’t been a first team regular under new boss Klinsmann and that alone could persuade the towering defender to seek a new challenge in the Premier League. Would Gunners fans welcome the arrival of an old head to help balance the raft of young players in the line-up?
