This talented international is apparently unhappy about his lack of first-team action, and has spoken out about his irritation. This could well herald a move in the transfer window.
Yossi Benayoun is wanted by Spartak Moscow, Manchester City and Ajax, and Liverpool could let him leave for £6m. (Eurosport)
The Israeli international has recently spoken out about his longing for first-team football, but he surely knows (as well as all Liverpool fans) that right now he isn’t good enough to replace any of the current eleven. He should in many ways be grateful for the appearances he has been getting. Anyway, he has apparently made it clear he would rather stay in the Premier League, and that would make a move to Man City the most likely destination.
Considering Mark Hughes’ side is stuttering at present, the move could be one that they seal in January. Rafa will be sorry to see Benayoun leave, but in many ways Yossi would be better off trying to get a regular spot at the Eastlands oufit. Would Anfield fans be sad to see the former West Ham man go or has he achieved all he could at the club?
