Good news for Red Devils fans, apparently the club has a buy-back clause for this youngster who has gone on to great things since being discarded by Sir Alex.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has dropped a hint that he may try to bring Italian striker Giuseppe Rossi back to the club from Villarreal.
The 21-year-old left Old Trafford to join the Yellow Submarine for in excess of £6million in the summer of 2007 and has proved to be a big hit in Spain.
However, Ferguson has revealed that the deal included a buy-back clause which the Red Devils could choose to take up in the future. (footballfancast.com)
There are many United fans who feel that the American-born Italian international wasn’t really given a fair crack of the whip by Fergie and, since leaving Old Trafford, he has proved himself more than worthy in both Serie A (where he helped Parma avoid the drop) and then La Liga where he effectively replaced former flop Diego Forlan at Villarreal. The impish striker would be a wise purchase, especially if the club can purchase him for just £6m, as he is clearly a player with a great deal of potential. Do Man United fans think Sir Alex should re-sign the New Jersey man?
