Having nabbed one of Arsene’s men in the summer, the Serie A giants are circling overhead to snap up another!
AC MILAN are lining up a £5million January bid for sacked Arsenal skipper William Gallas.
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti wants an established centre-half to replace 40-year-old Paolo Maldini and the injury-prone Alessandro Nesta.
And he is convinced he can lure Gallas to the San Siro following the Frenchman’s recent troubles.
Gallas, 31, is weighing up his Arsenal future after being fined and stripped of the captaincy by boss Arsene Wenger this week.
He has 2½ years of his £80,000-a-week Emirates contract to run.
But he has been left hurt by recent events after publicly criticising his young Arsenal team-mates.
Milan are one of the few clubs in Europe who could match Gallas’ wage demands.
But he will be allowed to go only if the Gunners can find a replacement in January who is still eligible to play in this season’s Champions League. (The Sun)
Well it’s no surprise I guess. Gallas has angered players, staff and fans alike with his recent outburst (which was perfectly timed as his book was launched in France, does he really need money so badly he has to smear the club?). Therefore, I am sure no one is caught off-guard by the list of clubs forming an orderly queue for the former Chelsea man.
I think Arsenal would do well to bring back Senderos from AC, and get what they can for Gallas before he does more damage to the club he once captained. Do Gunners fans think the club should just offload William, or should they give him another chance?
