Arsenal fans what are your views on Eboue-Gate?

The home fans gave this lad a great deal of abuse against Wigan, but in many ways he deserves it!

Wenger threw on Eboue into an unfamiliar left midfield position, but the manager was unrepentant. “The crowd were so nervous,” he said. “They expressed that and Eboue was the target. There were five or six minutes to go and we could not keep the ball any more. He had become a danger to the team, to getting a result.

“I will talk to him. Everything sad that happens to you makes you stronger. He is a good boy. He is loved within the club, and we will all help him.” (Daily Express)

Eboue felt the wrath of the Gunners support last term when he turned in turgid performances in most matches he played a part in, however this season whilst his form has been patchy I would say he has improved. Obviously emotions were high on Saturday and that is why Emmanuel got the reception he did but what should Arsene do now? Personally I don’t think the Ivorian is good enough to be a first team starter at the club and I would question whether is even up to being part of the squad as a whole so do Arsenal fans really think that the club should offload the player sooner rather than later?

Clearly he and Bendtner are two players who receive the most barracking from the fans but then that stands to reason as they are clearly two players who for some unknown reason Arsene has decided to put his faith into. I have nothing but admiration for the Frenchman, he is a tactical genius and clearly one of the best managers in the game but surely he must see that both players are just not good enough for a side hoping to challenge for Premier and Champions League glory. What do the fans think?
