Mark Hughes plots yet another foray into the transfer market!
Joleon Lescott is a £10million target for Manchester City boss Mark Hughes.
He has made the versatile Everton and England star his No.1 aim to strengthen his defence after missing out on Chelsea’s Wayne Bridge.
Hughes initially decided Bridge, understudy to Ashley Cole at Stamford Bridge, was the man he wanted. (The People)
Joleon Lescott had a fantastic season last term and whilst this term has been more patchy for the former Wolves man he has consistently found himself in the England reckoning and now Mark Hughes is looking to bolster his side by putting in a sizeable bid for the defender with an eye for goal. Everton will be loathed to lose the 26 year old but if a bid in the region of 10m came in could the cash strapped club afford to turn it down? Do Man City fans think that Joleon could fit in well in the Eastlands back four?
