Rafa is apparently very keen on snaring this top notch full back!
Liverpool are eyeing Portsmouth fullback Glen Johnson.
The Daily Mail says England international Johnson has emerged as a target for Liverpool for the January market. (tribalfootball.com)
Since Glen Johnson arrived on the scene as a youngster at West Ham he has gone from strength to strength and has even managed where others have failed by resurrecting a career blighted by a stagnant period at Chelsea. At Portsmouth he has become a far more consistent performer as able to lead and attack out wide as he is to cover the opposition winger’s runs with ease thanks to an incredible turn of pace and a good footballing brain. Now firmly part of the England set up the 24 year old may feel that he has gone as far as he can at Fratton Park and a move to Anfield will no doubt excite the right back and he could do an excellent job at the Merseyside outfit and financial worries will surely dictate that Tony Adams will have to lose one or two of his top players. Do Liverpool fans think that a move for Glen would be a good one?
