Former Chelsea manager blasts Sir Alex Ferguson and his squad: He claims they are far from untouchable!

Jose Mourinho has been known to get under Sir Alex Ferguson’s skin on many occasions. Ah, who the hell are we kidding, Mourinho infuriates Ferguson more than probably any other manager not named Benitez. Ahead of the clash between Jose’s Inter and Ferugson’s United squad, the former Chelsea boss had a slight dig at the club that Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger said was untouchable.

“Untouchable … no,” said Mourinho in the Daily Mirror. “I hope United think like that, though, because they’re not untouchable.”

“It doesn’t matter how many of my team could get into theirs because my team is more than the sum of the parts,” added Mourinho. “Players don’t play individually. It’s team play and United is not better than my team. We will beat them.” (ESPN Soccernet/Daily Mirror)

For a club that’s currently on pace to win all five trophies this year, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better club in the world right now. Regardless, Mourinho knows exactly how to push Ferguson’s buttons at just the right time. This would appear to be on of those times.
