Chelsea planning HUGE SUMMER CLEAROUT: Which players should be leaving the Bridge?

For the third season running, Chelsea have fallen short in the title race, something which must be unforgivable in the eyes of Roman Abramovich. It appears as though the club are intent on getting rid of several players in the summer, as they attempt to rebuild and compete more fiercely with Manchester United next term.

The Daily Mirror reports that up to five Blues players will be leaving in the summer. Chairman Bruce Buck has revealed that the squad needs freshening up, although does this indicate that Guus Hiddink is likely to stay at the club for the long haul? After all, what if the new permanent appointment as manager wants to keep the said players?

Buck said: “We haven’t properly got together to talk about summer transfers yet but I think that we could expect that several players will leave and that several players will come in.

“I don’t know whether that is three, four or five, but something in that kind of neighbourhood, so we can expect a handful to leave.

“We’d like to use internally generated cash to buy new players – and by that I mean sell players and buy new players. But of course if an appropriate player comes then money would be available from the owner to buy him.”

Chelsea supporters, who do you think the club should sell off in order to buy new players? Surely Florent Malouda will be going in the summer, with Didier Drogba also on the shortlist considering that the striker clearly has an attitude problem. Why do you think the Blues have fallen short in the league this season?
