Defender adds more MISERY to Everton’s season: Does Moyes have enough players to field a squad?!

Everton are suffering from another debilitating injury that has forced David Moyes to once again restructure his starting XI. This loss will really hurt the club.

Everton expect to be without full back Tony Hibbert for a month after he picked up a thigh strain in the weekend win over West Brom.

It means he misses the Barclays Premier League trip to Blackburn, but could be back for an FA Cup semi-final in April if Everton win their quarter-final on Sunday at home to Middlesbrough. (Daily Mail)

You have to feel for David Moyes and his squad. Every manager expects to deal with injuries during the season, but the number of players on the mend (or out for the season in Yakubu and Arteta’s case) for Everton is beyond ridiculous. I’m sure David Moyes is saying a little prayer that his club can get through their next match against Blackburn without a single injury knock. But at this rate it just doesn’t seem possible.

Hibbert is a massive cog in the Everton defense. He will be missed. I guess the good news is that he could be back for the FA Cup semi-final in April. What do Everton supporters make of the latest injury knock? Could it really get any worse?
