Arsenal ready to make AUDACIOUS £9m Striker bid: Would this be a mistake?

Would Wenger really try to bring this former Gunner back to the club?

Jeremie Aliadiere will quit Middlesbrough if they go down – with a return to Arsenal a shock possibility.

The French striker, 25, has only scored eight goals in 59 games for Boro but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger remains a big fan since selling him for £2million in 2007. (Daily Mirror)

I think it’s fair to say that Aliadiere’s career hasn’t lived up to it’s potential since he left north London two years ago. The £9m rated stylish striker has always flattered to decieve at the Riverside and is by no mean prolific and whilst he may be too good to play at Championship level, if indeed Boro do get relegated, he is surely not good enough for a shock return to the Gunners? What do Arsenal fans think?
