Can anything stop this Anfield man leaving the club?
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is ready to replace Dan Agger if he fails to agree to a new contract.
The Anfield chief has not given up hope of keeping 24-year-old defender Agger but he has yet to agree terms.
AC Milan and Juventus have both expressed interest in the Dane and Liverpool do not want to risk losing him on a free with his contract up in 18 months.

Liverpool’s Daniel Agger is expected to leave the club at the end of the season, despite his boss Rafa Benitez signing a new 5-year contract.
Speaking to Ritzau, Agger said: “Congratulations to him [Rafa]. He has done it well. But I will not sign with Benitez but with the club. That is something that I have to keep in mind.”
When pressed on whether he’ll remain at Anfield beyonf the end of this season, Agger responded: “I don’t want to get involved in that discussion. But he [Rafa] was the one that brought me to the club.” (fansfc.com)
As more and more time passes it does seem more and more likely that Daniel Agger may move to Italy. Rafa is not afraid to replace the Danish international and won’t be held to ransom over the protracted contract talks. AC Milan and Juventus have registered their interest in the tough tackling centre back so it could well be that the £11m rated 24 year old leaves the club in the summer. Do Liverpool fans think that Rafa should try harder to keep Agger at the club?
