One Arsenal player likely to be sold this summer is Philippe Senderos, currently on loan at AC Milan.
Aston Villa see the central defender as a possible replacement for Martin Laursen, who may be forced to retire because of his persistent injuries.

Given the problems at the heart of the Arsenal defence this season i am a tad surprised that Arsene Wenger appears, at least according to this source, so quick to consider letting the big Swiss international leave.
First the Gunners had a problem as their first choice centre back pairing of William Gallas and Kolo Toure was splintered due to the fact that neither player got on well with the other and then the slightly insane Frenchman got injured and replacement Johan Djourou had a few nervous games and then Mikel Silvestre looked inept at the back and consequently even Mr. Reliable Kolo Toure has had a few very poor performances culminating in a shocker against Chelsea on the weekend. Therefore however average i would deem Senderos he is at least a reasonably able player and certainly not a player to be offloaded until a decent player can be brought in to fill the gaping hole that is sure to be left by the probable departure of loose cannon Gallas.
Clearly Martin O’Neill needs to get someone in to make up for the likely retirement of man mountain Laursen and Senderos could in time grow into a decent choice.
Senderos to Aston Villa: I think it will happen.
