Liverpool Boss Refuses to Congratulate Sir Alex and Instead Offers Praise to Everyone else Connected to Man United!

Rafa vs Sir Alex Pt 42!

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez refused to congratulate Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson for beating his side to the Premier League title.
“I prefer just to say well done to the club, a big club, a good club,” he said after Liverpool beat West Brom 2-0.
“Normally you have to be polite and respect the other manager but during the season we have seen a lot of things that I didn’t like, so that’s it.
“I say congratulations to United because they have won. And that’s it.” (BBC Sport)

It seems the war of words continues. Rafa was angered by a series of attacks from the Emperor of the Jedi Mind Trick the one and only Sir Alex Ferguson and the Liverpool boss has decided to up his game with this latest barbed attack.

It’s quite clever actually when you think about it. This way he gets to pat Man United‘s collective back for their record equaling title triumph but simultaneously makes Ferguson the subject of a thinly veiled attack.

As a neutral the ongoing verbal battle between these two has been one of the highlights of the season and one can only hope that it continues into next term!
