Interest is building in Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko with numerous Premier League clubs reported to be monitoring his progress though Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have emerged as front-runners. The 23-year-old has enjoyed a superb season after scoring 19 goals in 28 league appearances (25 starts) as his club currently tops the Bundesliga, three points above Bayern with 4 games to go.

As Wolfsburg continue to march towards their first ever Bundesliga title in what has been a hugely engaging title race, two names have stood out for Felix Magath’s side in the form of Brazilian Grafite and Edin Dzeko.
The 23 year old Bosnian has been in the form of his career to date, scoring at will and with great aplomb. As well as the 25 goals he has netted he has been instrumental in providing the touches and assists to his strike partner and his teammates and it’s therefore no surprise that many teams have been tracking him. His performances have also led his national team to within a whisker of a World Cup Qualifying play-off place at the very least.
Rafa needs a player to support and compliment Fernando Torres and the tall, rangy but skillful Dzeko could fit the bill very nicely indeed.
Dzeko to Liverpool: If Benitez fails in some of his other attempts to bring in strikers then this could well become a possibility.
