Tottenham Ready to Seal £10m Striker Exit Deal

Tired of trying to prove himself good enough this striker may well say goodbye to Mr. Redknapp.

The Rumour

Steve Bruce will sign Tottenham striker Darren Bent for £10m once he is confirmed as Sunderland manager.

The Analysis

Darren Bent has had an interesting couple of years at White Hart Lane. He arrived with a hefty price tag, nothing much he can do about that i guess, and had a pretty poor first season albeit he wasn’t playing regularly. Then last season he finishes top scorer even though he started barely half the matches the club competed in. Harry Redknapp doesn’t appear to hold the former Charlton man in high regard and of course suggested that his Wife could’ve finished better than Darren after the striker missed a sitter.

Sunderland are one of many clubs who are said to have an interest in the 25 year old and in many ways it would make more sense for the England man to move on and secure a first team spot elsewhere rather than try to prove yet another Tottenham manager of his worth.

The Likelihood

Bent to Sunderland: Yes i think this will happen.
