Top Notch Italian on his way to Stamford Bridge?

The Rumour

ANDREA PIRLO says he could be persuaded to join Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea revolution.
The AC Milan midfielder admits he is unhappy at the San Siro after the sale of Brazil star Kaka to Real Madrid.

And he has not ruled out a switch to Stamford Bridge to link up with ex-Milan boss Ancelotti.

Italy ace Pirlo said: “Me at Chelsea? Let’s see. Maybe not now but we will see.

“We took Kaka’s move badly. Kaka is a really great player and a really great man. To cover his absence will take time.

“The Milan board wanted to bring in the money. Kaka was right to say this hasn’t been his decision.”

The Analysis

Carlo Ancelotti’s departure from AC Milan seems to have acted as a catalyst for their stars to leave the club, they are basically using the bosses exit as an excuse to move on. Kaka is an exception though as it did appear that the San Siro side gave in and took Real Madrid’s cash and ran. Now another talented member of the Serie A side seems to be set to leave.

The 30 year old midfielder switch from Inter to AC in 2001 and hasn’t looked back since and after eight successful years at the club he seems set to leave. He is a very talented player with a great long set of long range passes good at set pieces and able to tackle back when needed. One of those players that does far more than you at first thought.
