Could this Spaniard be heading for an Anfield exit?
Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez will readily accept £8 million from Real for Arbeloa after sensing he is close to landing Glen Johnson from Portsmouth.

Was was telling in Liverpool‘s official statement was the fact that the club said they had no intention of letting either Javier Mascherano or Xabi Alonso move to Real Madrid, and Benitez also said he had no interest in bringing in any of the Spanish based players as part of any deal to purchase either midfielder, however no mention was made of the speculated move linking Alvaro Arbeloa with a move back to Spain, coincidence, perhaps!
Well now this source suggests that Rafa would indeed accept a deal for the right back as he believes he may well secure the excellent England man Glen Johnson, clearly Benitez wouldn’t sell one without securing the other but perhaps its only a matter of time?
Arbeloa has been a solid signing, racking up almost 100 appearances for the club since he joined in January 2007 and perhaps the 26 year old likes the idea of re-joining the club he was a youth player at?
Arbeloa to Real Madrid: I think this may well happen.
