Liverpool have accepted a bid of around £3m from Panathinaikos for Argentinian midfielder Sebastien Leto, according to reports in the Greek media tonight. (This Is Anfield)

Can’t say we’re surprised. Leto’s Liverpool career has never been plain sailing, work permit issues seriously screwed up his Anfield move which appears to be over before it ever really began. A successful loan move to Olympiakos seems to have paved the way for a move to their Greek rivals Panathinaikos, which is sure to make him very welcome the next time the two meet for an away game!
