Sir Alex considers bringing in Scottish goalie with a point to prove!
Manchester United are being linked with a surprise move for Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
The Daily Star Sunday says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is considering a move for Sunderland’s out-of-favour keeper Gordon, 26.
The Scot signed for a British record £9million from Hearts two years ago but failed to establish himself with the Black Cats.

Given Edwin Van der Sar’s age and the relatively inexperienced cover from the likes of Ben Foster and Thomasz Kuszczak some would think that Man United need some safer hands to take over when the Dutchman finally does hang up his gloves and a move for Scot Craig Gordon would be a clever one in my opinion.
Somehow the former Hearts man has found himself out in the cold at the Stadium of Light losing his place to Márton Fülöp and it’s obviously a move that would greatly interest the 26 year old. With Steve Bruce now at the reins at Sunderland Gordon may have another shot at regaining his place but likewise the Black Cats boss may well decide to cash in on the stopper.
Gordon to Man United: It’s a move I can see happening!
