Gunners set a price tag on Fabregas, that is if you believe all you read anyway!
ARSENAL have slapped a £40million price-tag on Cesc Fabregas as they brace themselves for a bid from Real Madrid or Barcelona.
A Gunners insider said: “Nobody at Arsenal wants to see Fabregas go but there comes a point when the money is too good to turn down.
“If Arsenal receive a bid in the region of £40m there will be an enormous pressure to sell.”
Emirates boss Arsene Wenger is desperate for funds to strengthen his squad in order to mount a credible title challenge.
The loss of midfielder Fabregas, 22, would seem like a hammer blow but the Gunners went on a 20-game unbeaten run in the league when he was crocked last season.

Some stories and indeed some sources should be taken with a huge pinch of salt, in fact perhaps a bucket of the stuff, and The Sun and ‘Their Insider’s’, are just such sources. I really don’t think we can take this speculation as even based in any sense of the word in truth.
Wenger has said time and again that Cesc is not for sale and he knows that if he was to change his tune all Gunners fans would be up in arms. Fabregas himself was ill advised to state his admiration for Pepe Guardiola, as he would have known it would have been seized on my some as more than just praising an opposing manager, but to his credit the young Spaniard made it clear through an official statement that his future is at the Emirates.
Apart from anything else, £40m isn’t anywhere near his valuation which must be far higher given recent massive transfers for players older than himself.
Fabregas to Barcelona.Real Madrid: Nope!
