Redknapp’s radar homes in on Madrid once again!
Tottenham still have high hopes of buying Arjen Robben despite the player’s father dismissing the chances of a move.
The winger is no longer wanted by Real Madrid, who need to recoup some of the £180million they have spent this summer.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy met Real officials last month, which raised speculation of a move for Robben only for it then to be played down by his father and agent Hans.
However, Spurs have not given up as it is believed the former Chelsea player is keen on a return to London.

It did appear that Daniel Levy’s trip to Spain to negotiate the signing of some of the Dutch contingent deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu had failed but this source suggests that the deal to bring Arjen Robben back to London is very much back on.
Arjen was a big hit in the Premier League during his three year spell at Chelsea and he picked up two titles an FA Cup and two League Cup in that spell but decided to give La Liga a shot but now it appears he seems to set to leave Real Madrid as the new Galaticos arrive with alarming regularity.
Apparently the Dutchman has a release clause in his contract that can be triggered by a fee as little as £11m, which would make his signing one hell of a bargain, after all the former PSV man is still only 25 and still capable of all the trickery and flair one would want from a winger.
Robben to Spurs: It’s a long shot!
