A queue of clubs forms behind impressive Danish international.
Fulham, West Ham, Tottenham and Portsmouth are in talks over a possible deal for Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen.
The 29-year-old Dane is available for £6million but the clubs are exploring the possibility of a loan.
Lee Anderson, the representative working on behalf of Juventus in England, said: ‘We have had expressions of interest from four southern-based clubs in England.
‘We are having a meeting tonight and things could be wrapped up by Monday.’

Christian Poulsen’s future in Turin was already in the balance before the club signed Felipe Melo as new coach Ciro Ferrara doesn’t appear to see the Dane as part of his first team plans and as a result many potential suitors have popped up clamouring for the hugely experienced midfielder’s signature.
He appears to be very keen on a move to England and at one point it appeared Liverpool may be the club of choice but that interest seems to have petered out. Now Harry Redknapp seems most likely to secure the 29 year old’s signature and the fact that Jermain Jenas may be on his way out at White Hart Lane only serves to further strengthen the speculation.
Redknapp is trying to re-shape the club’s squad to better resemble one of his own making and therefore it appears that a great many players brought in by predecessors Jol and Ramos are in danger of the chop and having already offloaded Didier Zokora and Chris Gunter it appears many more players are heading for the exit.
Poulsen to Spurs: It appears a deal is very much in the offing.
