Determined customer appears on Rafa’s radar
Liverpool are ahead of Fulham for Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen.
The Times says Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing Poulsen and Juventus will only consider selling the defensive midfield player, which ends Fulham’s attempts to negotiate a loan deal.
The Denmark player, who has also played for Seville, rejected a £6million move to Fenerbahçe.

There may be some Liverpool fans who believe that the club could well do with another defensive midfielder regardless of whether Javier Mascherano leaves the club and with that in mind there may not be a better value man that Christian Poulsen.
With Damien Plessis still learning the tricks of the trade Rafa may well feel he needs a more effective back up in this area of the field and perhaps that is why he is reportedly interested in the Juventus man who has found his place at the Serie A club taken by the arrival of Brazilian Felipe Melo.
The 29 year old Dane has been around for a while and has done well during spells in Germany, Spain and Italy and could well be a decent acquisition.
Poulsen to Liverpool: At that price it could well be a possibility.
