Aussie heading to join fellow countryman at Turkish giants.
Galatasaray claim they have signed Everton full-back Lucas Neill on a one-and-a-half-year deal.
Reports had suggested the Toffees were considering a £750,000 bid from the Turkish side for the 31-year-old.
However, a statement on Galatasaray’s website said they had sealed a deal for the Australian.
He agreed a one-year deal at Everton in September after becoming a free agent when his contract came to an end at West Ham.
International team-mate and former Liverpool star Harry Kewell is already plying his trade at Ali Sami Yen Stadium.
Neill began his professional career with Millwall in 1995, before heading to Blackburn six years later for a £1m fee and then he signed for the Hammers in January 2007.

David Moyes took something of a risk by signing the Australian in the summer as the former West Ham ran down his Upton Park contract and waited for big money offers to come in and had been hoping to get a paycheque similar to the huge one he was getting at the Hammers during his time at the east London club.
It seems that the full back may want to move to Turkey in order to get even more money. Many fans have commented on Lucas’s seeming need to get as much money as possible and this appears to be yet another chance for the 31 year old to cash in and whilst Everton would have liked to have kept Neill at the club they may be just as happy to take the money and run for the player they picked up for nothing just six months ago.
