Harry Redknapp wants to bring in form Bundesliga man to White Hart Lane.
Tottenham have joined the race for £25million-rated Wolfsburg star Edin Dzeko.
The Bosnian striker, 24, has opened the door for a possible summer move to the Premier League after previously claiming he would prefer to move to Italian giants AC Milan.
Dzeko has attracted interest from English clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester City.

As Harry Redknapp considers his attacking option for next season, whilst hoping to secure that coveted fourth place finish, he has now been linked with a White Hart Lane swoop for highly rated Bosnian Edin Dzeko. Tottenham have reportedly joined fellow Premier League sides Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United in their pursuit of the Wolfsburg goal machine.
Even though the current Bundesliga champions have struggled to maintain anything like the form of last term the 24 year old has been in sparkling form scoring 25 goals thus far this term.
It is as yet unknown who will be filling the attacking positions at Tottenham next term with Robbie Keane and Roman Pavlyuchenko both unsure of their futures. Irishman Keane could well be looking to secure a permanent to Celtic but the SPL side may not be able to afford the valuation of their striker. Roman Pavlyuchenko has been in fine form of late, battling his way back in the first team picture. However the Russian is apparently homesick and could well still return to either Spartak Moscow or look for a move to Lokomotiv.
Either way if the north London side are looking to snap up Edin Dzeko it would be an ambitious undertaking that will be helped if they can offer the former Teplice man Champions League football.
