Chelsea eased past Aston Villa at Wembley to earn themselves a place in the FA Cup Final. The Stamford Bridge outfit went on the rampage in the second half after both sides canceled each other out in the first 45 minutes.
Martin O’Neill could have reasons to be unhappy with the officials after Gabriel Agbonlahor was brought down by John Obi Mikel early on. Didier Drogba scored the first goal of the game midway through the second half and goals from Florent Malouda and Frank Lampard in the final minutes gave the score a somewhat skewed picture of a game that wasn’t as easy as it suggests.
Carlo Ancelotti will now look forward to taking on either Tottenham or Portsmouth in the FA Cup Final.
