Football - Germany v Argentina International Friendly

Veteran German international Michael Ballack has had a great season this term and the 33 year old will be hoping that he can bring the Premier League title back to Stamford Bridge and then hopes to lead his nation to World Cup glory in South Africa.

The former Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was in fantastic form during the World Cup qualifying campaign and has always saved his best game when pulling on the white jersey and his record of 42 goals in 98 internationals is remarkable.

Germany were imperious in the qualification process but their rather limp performance against Argentina in a friendly in March may have worried some but with Ballack at the helm it’s worth betting on Joachim Low’s team being one of the teams to beat this summer.
