Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to splash out on Ajax goal machine Luis Suarez. The north London side are looking to persuade former White Hart Lane boss Martin Jol to accept bids in the region of £16m for the prolific Uruguayan international.
Irish international Robbie Keane seems more than likely to leave Spurs and has been linked with sealing a permanent move to Celtic and also has the likes of Aston Villa and Sunderland also considering moves for the 29 year old. Harry could also see Roman Pavlyuchenko leave the club even though the Russian has hit a purple patch he is apparently homesick and could yet move back to Russia this summer.
Luis Suarez has scored an incredible 45 goals in 45 matches this season and Redknapp is looking to clinch a deal for the Ajax man before the World Cup where any valuation for the 23 year old could sky rocket if he continues his hot streak.
A £16m bid may be good enough to snap up the former Groningen and any deal could become more plausible if Tottenham secure a Champions League place to offer Suarez.
