Emirates hero must surely be part of Domenech’s World Cup plans!
Sometimes I get the feeling that not enough plaudits are lavished at the Arsenal attacker Samir Nasri. Whenever people list the best flair players plying their trade in Europe the former Marseille man gets overlooked then he nets a beauty, like the one he put away against Porto in March, and then people outside the Emirates remember all about him.
The impish creative visionary has had problems with injury during his two seasons at the north London club but he has still manage to show just what he is capable of when in an Arsenal shirt. He also shows exactly what he is made of when on international duty and is a player that Raymond Domenech would do well to make part of his starting line up in South Africa.
Nasri hasn’t gotten a French cap since April 2009 but must surely be part of the French squad for the World Cup as his explosive ability to make something out of nothing is a priceless commodity that his country can ill afford to miss out on.
