Belle And Sebastian are one of the most critically acclaimed bands to have come out of Britain in the last twenty years, and the Scottish group are behind brilliant songs such as The Boy With The Arab Strap, It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career and Step Into My Office, Baby are much loved by their fans.
They have recently announced a tour of the United States to take place this autumn, which comes as they complete work on their eighth studio album. However, what will be more of note to UK fans is that the official band website reveals that there will be news of UK dates to come later this year.
Those fans that cannot wait until then will have a chance to see the Belle And Sebastian at Latitude Festival. The Glaswegians headline Saturday July 17th 2010 above Crystal Castles, The Maccabees, James, Frank Turner, Corinne Bailey Rae and the xx, with many more acts across the three days.
Florence And The Machine, The National, Vampire Weekend and Grizzly Bear headline the two biggest stages on the other days of the festival, and Latitude Festival tickets are on sale now. Weekend tickets are available from £226 through official festival partner Viagogo.
