I just got an electric shock so bad it was like touching a Jurassic Park fence!

Kings Of Leon played their massive gig in London Hyde Park last night, which included new material and a cover.

The Tennessee band performed four new songs, including Immortals, Radioactive and Southbound, while they also covered the Pixies classic Where Is My Mind?

During the set, Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill was almost overwhelmed by the rapturous reception from the crowd, and told them, “It’s been one of the greatest experiences of my life.”

Support acts The Whigs, The Features, The Drums and The Black Keys were all received with similar warmth, and a good day out was enjoyed by all. Those who didn’t manage to see Kings Of Leon at Hyde Park will welcome the news that the band will also headline V Festival 2010, which takes place between August 21st – 22nd. V Festival tickets are still on sale though, with day tickets available from £79 and weekend tickets on sale for £229.
