Eastlands outfit ready to splash the cash again.
Manchester City are rumoured to be readying an ambitious double swoop for Brazilian international pair Luis Fabiano and Michel Bastos. Roberto Mancini is looking to bring in even more top notch talent having secured David Silva and Yaya Toure in the last week and hopes to be able to beat a host of other interested parties to the duo.
Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano has been targeted by a number of potential suitors keen on signing the prolific marksman and the 29 year old has stated his interest in a move to the Premier League and could well also be interested in the bumper pay packet he could earn at Eastlands. Having scored 87 goals in the past four La Liga seasons one can see why Mancini would be keen on the £22m rated forward.
Michel Bastos only moved from Lille to Lyon last summer but has seen the move help him become a fixture in the international set-up but he could well be keen on a move to the Premier League having seen his French side fail to overhaul Marseille in the Ligue 1 title race.
The pair would cost around £36m to sign but clearly money is not an issue at the cash rich outfit.
