This is good news for Arsenal fans. Sol Campbell impressed during his return to the club last term and appeared to be wavering on whether to stick with the north London club or accept a longer deal elsewhere. The 35 year old was reportedly close to moves to Newcastle United and Celtic but appears happy to remain at the Emirates for another season.
Arsene Wenger will be pleased as he had already bid farewell to William Gallas and Mikel Silvestre and could well do with having an experienced campaigner like the former Tottenham and Portsmouth man at the club.
