The Rolling Stones are to say goodbye to their legions of fans throughout the world with an enormous farewell tour to take place throughout 2011 and 2012. With drummer Charlie Watts set to have his 70th birthday – and his bandmates Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood all well into their sixties, it makes sense for the band to retire at the pinnacle of their game.

In fact, it is remarkable that their career has had such a longevity to it, but all good things must come to an end.

Still, when The Rolling Stones tickets become available, their fans will get to hear (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Paint It Black and Brown Sugar live in concert for the very last time.
