Having won the first Test match against Pakistan by 354 runs, England have elected to keep the same 12 players for the second Test from August 6th – 10th 2010. Yorkshire’s all-rounder Tim Bresnan will again play a backup role should he be required after Ajmal Shahzad failed to recover from the ankle problem that kept him out of the first match.

Pakistan meanwhile have sought out a new approach after their convincing defeat. Ex-captain Mohammad Yousuf has been brought back into the fold after suspension, while Danish Kaneria has been dropped after a fairly disastrous taking of 1-171 from 33 overs.

England v Pakistan tickets are on sale now for the second, third and fourth Test matches of the series – as well as the ODI matches that follow in September.
