PSG man back on Emirates radar.
Arsenal will attempt to lure long term target Mamadou Sakho to the Emirates before the transfer window slams shut. With Arsene Wenger urgently looking for additions to his threadbare defence a move for the Paris St Germain is back on the cards and the Emirates boss is ready to make a large offer for the French Under 21 international.
Having received his first senior call up for the forthcoming friendly with Norway, Sakho will be very interested in a move that could help make such call ups a regularity. The well built 20 year old centre back is known to be a player that Arsene Wenger greatly admires and after PSG finished last season in a disappointing 13th spot the youngster appeared to be pushing for a move away from the Parc des Princes but a big bid was not forthcoming which led to the player having to give up hope of a move from the Ligue 1 side.
Bayern Munich have since stepped up their interest in the adaptable defender who can also work well at left back and this could force Arsene Wenger into action.
A bid of around £12m may test the resolve of the financially unstable French club and the capture of the promising young defender could help resolve the frailties the club appears to have at the back. Although still very young the talented Parisian has had three full seasons in the French top tier and is well capable of making it at the top level of English football.
