Italian youngster on his way to Eastlands for medical.
Sky Sports News understands Mario Balotelli is flying to England to undergo a medical with Manchester City.
Balotelli’s agent revealed on Thursday that a deal to take the Inter Milan striker to Eastlands was close after the two clubs finally agreed a fee for his services.
The 20-year-old has been a long-term transfer target for City boss Roberto Mancini, but the club were struggling to secure a deal with European champions Inter.
However, a compromise has now been reached with reports suggesting City will pay £24million for the Italy international.

It seemed that the Italian Under 21 international had initially almost ended any interest in his services by asking for an astronomical pay packet but the deal is now back on and the talented forward is on his way to Eastlands as we type in order to have his medical. Roberto Mancini will be the ideal man to help make the most of Mario Balotelli’s undoubted potential and his arrival will surely signal the departure of at least one of the many attackers at the club.
