Tottenham misfit Giovani Dos Santos looks set for a move to Italy with Genoa, Fiorentina and Roma all tussling for his signature.

The Mexico international has failed to settle at Spurs since his £5m move from Barcelona in 2008 and has started only two Premier League games in over two years at in north London.

Giovani has spent time on loan at Ipswich and Galatasary and, according to reports in Italy, Genoa have enquired about taking the 21-year-old on loan for six months.

But it has been reported that Tottenham would rather sell the forward for a fee of around £6m with Fiorentina and Roma considering New Year bids. (talkSPORT)

Tottenham finally look set to offload Giovanni Dos Santos, after the Mexican forward failed to convince during his two years at the club. Dos Santos arrived from Barcelona with bags of potential, but has struggled to adapt to the English game, despite impressing at this year’s World Cup.

It was only a matter of time before Tottenham started to consider trimming down their squad size, with a wealth of midfielders at their disposal. The likes of David Bentey, Jermaine Jenas and Jamie O’Hara could also be sold this January in order to fund a move for a big-name striker.
