Arsenal are monitoring three German International targets with a view to making significant moves in the transfer market to improve his Emirates squad. Arsene Wenger is looking to make use of his transfer warchest to help boost his defensive options and bring an end to his goalkeeping problems.
Even though Lukasz Fabianski had a good game against Birmingham City on the weekend, Wenger is still very much in the market for a new goalie and is hoping to take advantage of Schalke’s abysmal start to the season by making a January move for German International Manuel Neuer, a player who the Gunners boss has been a big admirer of for some time.
He will also look to pounce for Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci who’s side is having a similarly appalling start to the Bundesliga campaign with the resultant bottom of the table position costing Christian Gross his job, adding more uncertainty for the young centre back who is also on Wenger’s wish-list.
The third player attracting interest is Marko Marin the highly rated Werder Bremen winger who is garnering a lot of interest from Europe’s elite who are clambering to attract the 21 year old away from the Weserstadion.
Arsene Wenger is hoping to end a five season long silverware drought and is ready to spend big to help improve his Emirates squad.
