Former AZ Alkmaar boss Ronald Koeman has revealed a desire to manage in England, despite distancing himself from the vacant post at Middlesbrough.
Koeman, 47, who left the Dutch side in December 2009 after seven months in charge, has also managed PSV Eindhoven.
“I would love to work in England, preferably at the highest level or at a club with potential,” Koeman told the NuSport newspaper.
“I do not see that at Middlesbrough,” the ex-Benfica and Valencia boss added. (BBC Sport)

Not sure why Ronald Koeman would even have to stipulate that he doesn’t want the Boro job unless the former Dutch international makes a habit of making it abundantly clear which managerial vacancies he doesn’t want to take.

Since leaving PSV in 2007 Koeman hasn’t had the best of times, failing in his brief stints at Valencia and AZ Alkmaar, however he clearly sees himself as above the vacant position at the Riverside.
