Adam Lallana is at the top of the two Premier League clubs’ transfer wishlist and a move to either St Andrews’ or the Britannia Stadium could be on the cards for January.

Birmingham and Stoke have both entered the race to sign Southampton’s star midfielder Adam Lallana, who last season became the club’s first midfielder to rack up twenty goals over the course of a campaign – beating David Armstrong’s 1983-84 total of 19.
Although Birmingham beat Blackpool 2-0 at the weekend, they have scored just 10 goals in 9 games this season, and a scoring threat from midfield would be a valuable asset to the team.
Stoke have the same number of goals in the Premier League, and Lallas would ease the pressure on Kenwyne Jones up front.
Although Lallas is just 5’6″, the two teams are both fairly strong physically and he would be ably aided by his colleagues in that regard.
