Top Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are reportedly interested in PSV Eindhoven ‘s Hungarian international Balazs Dzsudzsak.
The 23-year-old is in his fourth season at PSV and continues to impress, having scored a remarkable 11 goals in 18 matches so far this season, also contributing 4 assists.
Dzsudzsak is a very skilful, technical player who has great shooting ability from distance. He is particularly good at beating the full-back and supplying a dangerous ball to the strikers. With PSV Eindhoven suffering from financial uncertainty, the Dutch side may be forced to offload players.
According to The Sun, Dzsudzsak could be available for around £4m, which should not prove a barrier should Arsenal, Tottenham or Liverpool pursue their interest.(IMScouting)
Firstly, does anyone know how to pronounce that name? Secondly do Arsenal need more firepower? Clearly they have injury issues with Robin Van Persie and to a lesser extent Nicklas Bendtner, but if everyone is fighting fit then Arsene Wenger has a fair few options at his disposal. Mind you Dzsudzsak can play in a number of roles and is predominantly an attacking midfielder, but again don’t the Gunners have loads of those?
The north London club may well feel it is more pressing to resolve some defensive issues and may still be after a new keeper, despite Lukasz Fabianski’s huge improvement in form. Also there is always a concern that brilliant scoring records in Holland do not neccessarily equate to success in the Premier League, Alfonso Alves being a case in point.
Mind you at that price perhaps it is a risk worth taking?
