Fulham have apparently found a replacement for Mark Schwarzer , paving the way for the Australian to move to Arsenal in January.
According to a report in the Spanish Mundo Deportivo newspaper, the Cottagers are set to swoop for Espanyol stopper Carlos Kameni .

The 26-year-old is a fantastic, flexible shot-stopper, with the ability to make spectacular saves. He is also quite adept at saving penalties.

However, he does have the tendency to make silly mistakes, and needs to be quicker narrowing the angle in one-one-one situations.

The Cameroonian is contracted to Espanyol until 2013, and is valued at €5M-7.5M.

Arsenal were close to siging Schwarzer in the summer, but Fulham refused to sell the 38-year-old since they failed to find a replacement. (IMScouting)

Arsene Wenger still seems intent on bringing in Fulham veteran Mark Schwarzer regardless of the apparent improvement in form shown by Lukasz Fabianski. With youngster Wojciech Szczesny being given a hefty pay rise in his new contract, one wonders just how many keepers the Arsenal boss will be looking to have on his books. Remember also a young Vito Mannone is also waiting in the wings.

That said a move for the 37 year old Aussie may well make sense as it gives Arsene some more experience in the position but will surely mean that Spaniard Manuel Almunia is on his way out of the Emirates club.
