Birmingham City have offered Seb Larsson to Aston Villa as part of their bid to land Curtis Davies, skysports.com can confirm.
The Blues have already accepted that Larsson will not be staying at the club beyond this season, with his contract due to expire in the summer.
They accepted from a bid from Newcastle earlier this month, but the Swede could not agree terms with the Tyneside club.
Birmingham did reject offers from Blackburn and Villa, whilst the player also opted to shun a possible move to Spain.
But now he could be given the chance to talk to Villa, as Birmingham look ready to let him go to their Second City rivals.

This seems like a deal that would very much appeal to Gerard Houllier. The Villa Park boss doesn’t have much use for Curtis Davies who has been on loan at Leicester City for the past two months and hasn’t played an Aston Villa match under the Frenchman.
Sebastian Larsson appears to be on his way out of St Andrews’ but is yet to be offered a deal from prospective suitors that tempts him perhaps the short move to Aston Vila would tempt him, but would he be guaranteed a first team spot?
Clearly Alex McLeish would like to bring in Davies to cover for long term injury victim Scott Dann but the clock is ticking and with only a few days left of the transfer window it will be interesting to see if these arch rivals can come up with a deal that they are both happy with.
